Household Garbage

What about...

Modern Alkaline Batteries (normal AA & AAA) do NOT need to be recycled and can be safely thrown away in your garbage.  Lead Acid battery – such as car, truck or tractor batteries – need to be recycled. Re-Chargeable batteries used in many electronics devices and power tools, DO need to be recycled. Please keep separate for proper disposal.

Medical sharps are accepted in clearly marked, sealed, hard plastic containers. Approved sharped containers or liquid laundry detergent containers. Milk jugs are not acceptable containers.

Used oil and paint can be collected. Please place in plastic containers with screw on lid for transport.

Special hauling fee may be required.

Fluorescent lights work by electrically stimulating  mercury vapor contained inside the bulb.  Because of the mercury, they must be recycled to prevent contamination.  Please keep separate for proper disposal.

We will pick up tires on or off the rim however we require prior notification.

Special hauling fee may be required.

Hazardous Household Materials are products that contain chemicals that are toxic, flammable, corrosive, or reactive. Improper disposal of these products is dangerous for people and the environment.
